More Emporium Layouts

Here are two more layouts of my son and his family. These are photos that he sent me from when they visited the Indianapolis Zoo last summer. We were not with them at the time so it was great to get these photos to see the fun they have in their own area of the country. Love and miss them all!

Emporium Layout

Here are a few layouts I've been working on the past week or so. I have so many photos from the summer when my son and his family visited that I wanted to showcase a lot of them. We all had such a great time when they were here and I want to put that all in my scrapbooks so I can relive it all year till their next visit. I have not completed most of the journaling on these layouts yet but wanted to share them with you anyway as it may be awhile before I get that done. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday to Hubby!

No artwork to post right now...just thought I'd let you all know that today is hubby's 54th birthday. We will not be going out to celebrate tonight as it's a pretty cold, blustery day and it's just so much cozier to stay home. I'm going to fix one of his favorite meals...baked ziti along with a salad and garlic bread...and we will have strawberry cupcakes for dessert. YUM! Have a good day!

It is so awesome that the Eagles beat the New York Giants yesterday! What an awesome game! Too bad, Giants fans...Eagles rule! Superbowl, here we come! Well, at least I hope so! LOL...the Eagles have been known to disappoint us many times in the past but we are forever hopeful! I just thought I'd share that! Okay now onto something else!
I made another cookie sheet note holder yesterday for my friend, Nicole. Ya know, the one who just had the beautiful baby girl? By the way, I forgot to take a pic of the baby but hope to get one soon to share. I am very pleased with the way the cookie sheet turned out and wanted to share it with you all. I used one patterned paper from CTMH's new Emporium paper pack and one from the new That's Amore` paper pack. The butterflies are from the March Stamp of the Month set called Butterfly Wings. I LOVE this stamp set. Hope you enjoy it!

Congrats to my friend, Nicole!

Here are some photos of the baby album I made for my friend, Nicole. Her third baby and second girl was born on January 6th. I went to visit her today and her baby is just absolutely beautiful! She felt like a little peanut in my arms...she barely weighed anything. It is so hard to believe that we were all that small. What a precious little one!
I used the My Creations Display Album from Close To My Heart for this baby album along with the More To Adore paper pack, which I still love! I also used my cricut for the die cuts which I think are just too darn cute! Love the onesies! Don't you agree? And those itty bitty hangers? Just too cute! I didn't post photos of all the pages as there were too many but you get the idea, right? I had a lot of fun making this album although I only had about 4 days to work on it. As soon as I knew she had a girl, I got right to work on it in order to be able to give it to her today. She loved it!
Well, our first real snowfall didn't occur today as predicted. So what else is new? All we got was a bit of sleet and that has stopped falling for now. So much for scrapping snow photos! Winter still has a ways to go so I'm sure I'll have another chance. Have a good evening and thanks for stopping by! : )

TGIF again!

I also wanted to share with you the cards and layouts I've been making with Close To My Heart's January Special Promotion called Key To My Heart. I love this paper pack and stamp set! I know you would, too, so contact me and I'll tell you how you can get it either FREE or for $20. This promotion runs till January 31st and then it's gone! So hurry, if you're interested! Enjoy!

Well, it doesn't really matter to me whether it's Friday or not since I'm not working any more but I couldn't think of another title at the moment. The weather forecast for tomorrow says we may be getting our first snowfall of the winter. Possibly 2-4 inches. I really don't like snow as it's been years since I lived in upstate NY and we got snow all the time there. Here in the southeastern corner of PA we don't see much snow any more so it's a real pain when it happens. Although I love to take photos of it and scrap them! So my camera will be ready tomorrow if it should snow.
Enough about that...now on to more important issues...like my new cards and layouts I've created with the new That's Amore` paper pack from Close To My Heart. This is actually a swap spoiler view but it's just 5 of us involved and since not many people will actually get to see these, I thought I'd post them here anyway. Hope you enjoy them. Please don't hesitate to ask for details on these projects.
I just noticed that for some reason I don't have a photo of the layout I made in my computer. Sorry! I will try to post that another time.
Have a great day!

Happy New Year!

Let's hope this new year is a happy, healthy and productive one. I think we are all happy to say goodbye to 2008. Whew! What a year! 2009 should be a challenging year for me as I'm starting out with no job but with plenty of time to work my business. I have several goals I'd like to achieve so we shall see.

I am hoping to expand on my Close To My Heart business and I've already gotten a good start. I met the wife of a friend of my husband's tonight and she is so nice! She wants to learn how to scrap so she's going to join my monthly scrapbook class. She also placed a small order with me and is looking forward to her new goodies. She is also going to talk to some ladies at her church tomorrow and see if she can send me more customers. I will forever be in her debt if that should happen. You see, I've been struggling to gain customers in my area so any new ones I get are very welcome! Wish me luck!

I will have some photos to share with you tomorrow. Sorry I haven't posted any again in over a week. I've taken the photos of some projects I've been working on, just haven't gotten them into the computer yet. Be patient and it will be well worth the wait! LOL

Have a great day!
