Happy 'Close To My Heart' Anniversary to Me!

Happy Anniversary to me! Wow! I can't believe that today marks my third anniversary with Close To My Heart! The time sure has gone fast and what fun it's been! I started out just wanting to get all the great products at a discount but decided after a short period of time that I really wanted to share this great company with everyone I knew. In the three years since I joined this wonderful company, I became a Supervisor with three downline who also have a strong love for scrapbooking and stamping like myself. I have made many new friends, who include my upline, two of my downline, who I hadn't known prior to joining CTMH and great ladies who have become my faithful customers who help to grow my business. If not for them, I don't know what I'd be doing! Thank you all!

I have been busy creating lately so to show my appreciation for all the stampers, scrapbookers and cardmakers in my life, I have posted some of my artwork for you to enjoy. Feel free to 'lift' if you so desire. The first two cards were created using the new 'Grace' paper pack which I am really loving with it's rich earth tones.

This layout was also created with the 'Grace' paper pack. I used the Sideline Surprise design from one of the Close To My Heart how-to books, whose name eludes me at the moment. Sorry! : ( It was a challenging layout, to say the least, as the photos on the sides had to be trimmed just 'so' in order to fit. But I love the look! I still need to complete the journaling on this page. That is one thing I always procrastinate on. I like to make sure I pick just the right words so I really have to think deeply before writing. The Brandywine Battlefield was one of the day trips we took while my son and his family were visiting us back in July. Don't you just love the look of those old buildings? I wish I had one in my own backyard to look at and enjoy every day.

These last two cards were created using the new 'Twitterpated' paper pack. The designs are from the 'Wishes' how-to cardmaking book from CTMH. The 'Twitterpated' paper pack is starting to become my favorite so far of the 4 new paper packs that are available to everyone starting tomorrow, Sept. 1. Fall has always been my favorite time of year so it's no surprise that I would love any paper pack with a Fall color scheme. If you'd like to get your hands on any of the new products from Close To My Heart, check out my website tomorrow for the unveiling of the new Autumn/Winter 2009 Idea Book and Catalog.

I hope you have enjoyed all my new artwork today as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to you! Please feel free to leave a comment. I would love to know what you think!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

CTMH Scrapbook Challenge #21-It's a Beautiful Day

My latest layout in the Weekly Scrapbook Challenge. Here I am using Back Country paper again but I can't seem to help myself. I love this paper for outdoor photos, although I haven't added photos yet to this layout, I shouldn't have a problem with that. This design comes from the Cherish how-to book from Close To My Heart called 'Column Composition'. This is also the layout my scrapping friends will be creating this evening during our monthly scrap class. I am anxious to see what they think of it. I also used the Picture Perfect, Backwoods and True Happiness stamp sets along with Barn Red, Outdoor Denim and Olive inks.

Close To My Heart-Grace Layout

Here's a layout I created using the new 'Grace' paper pack from Close To My Heart. This paper has such beautiful flowers on it in rich earthy tones that I'm really loving it. The photos I had from my son's wedding back in July just seemed perfect for these papers. Don't you agree? What a beautiful couple they make! And so happy! That's the important part!
I also used 'The Works' alphabet stamp set and the exclusive stamp set that comes with the Workshop on the Go 'Grace' kit along with some buttons and brads. Hope you enjoy the layout!

Thanks for looking!

Close To My Heart Twitterpated Card

Thought I'd share this cute little card I made with this cute little hedgehog. Isn't he cute? Did I mention how cute he is? Okay, enough of the cute stuff! But seriously, he is so stinkin' cute that I had to share him with you.

I used the new Twitterpated paper pack and exclusive stamp set for this card along with chocolate ribbon and ink, hemp, and the new Dimensional Elements-In Color-Organic chipboard embellishments. Whew! That's a mouthful! I am really loving the new Twitterpated papers and I know you will, too. They will be available for purchase beginning on September 1. So if you like this stinkin' cute little hedgehog, contact me to purchase the supplies to create this card for yourself.

CTMH Scrapbook Challenge #20-Picnic Time

Aren't these three little girls just the cutest? In case you've forgotten, although I don't know how you could have (haha), these are my cute granddaughters. I was able to take many photos of them when they visited last month so they will be the subject of many layouts to come.

This layout is the latest one I've created for the Weekly Scrapbook Challenge. It uses one of the newest paper packs from Close To My Heart called 'Twitterpated'. I LOVE this paper pack! I have already made another layout and a card with this paper and love how they turned out. I will try to post them both soon.

This week's challenge uses the 'In the Groove' design from CTMH's how-to book, Imagine. I also used the new Dimensional Elements-In Color-Organic embellishments, the stamp set that is included in the Workshop on the Go kit (paper pack, exclusive stamp set, chocolate ribbon and a workshop guide) copper brads, hemp, chocolate ribbon, and chocolate, sorbet and sweet leaf inks. If you are interested in purchasing this Workshop on the Go kit for yourself, contact me through my CTMH website.

Another card using the CTMH September Stamp of the Month

Here is another card featuring the September SOTM from CTMH. I used the Perfect Day papers on this along with Tulip, Juniper and Cocoa inks. Very simple but nice! Now, who can I send this card to? There are so many people in my life right now that I really need to thank so it will be a tough decision. I love the verse on this: those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. Don't you just love that?

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy the card!

CTMH Scrapbook Challenge #19

Here is the latest layout I've created for the Weekly Scrapbook Challenge. This is #19! Wow! I can't believe I have been doing these challenges for 19 weeks! I have enjoyed being a part of this weekly challenge as I've been able to accomplish a lot of layouts and stay current with my memories. If you are interested in joining in on this challenge, click here to go to Helen Onulak's blog where she posts every Sunday the layout design to use for each week.

I used the CTMH Perfect Day paper pack for this layout as I think the papers matched my photos quite well. The designs for these pages came from CTMH's Reflections how-to book. I still think there's a little something missing on this layout and will try to figure that out soon. Maybe some brads between the photos on the left page? Or some small flowers? It'll have to wait though till I return from my trip to NY.

This layout has photos I took on our recent visit to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Aren't all those little girlies just too cute? Well, I think so! Sorry there's a glare on it but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get rid of it. Hope you enjoy the layout!

Sneak Peek of CTMH's September Stamp of the Month

I was playing around today with the new September stamp set of the month from Close To My Heart and thought I'd give you all a sneak peek by sharing my creations with you. These are 2 cards I made with 'D1375 Treasures', which I am really starting to love. There are so many possibilities with this stamp set that I think everyone is going to love it as well. I especially love to do random stamping with this type of stamp set. It is so much fun!

I used Orange and Topiary cardstock and inks for these cards. Don't you just love the cheery brightness of these colors? The first card is a standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 size. The second one is 8 x 3 1/2. I don't often make cards that size but thought I'd see what I could do. Not too bad!

If you would like to get your hands on this awesome stamp set at a discount or even FREE, all you have to do is place an order with me in the month of September. Click here to go to my website to see what other awesome products Close To My Heart offers.

CTMH Scrapbook Challenge #17

Here's the latest layout for the Scrapbook Challenge I participate in every week. It's a bit late but it's done, well, almost done! I still have to figure out where I'm going to put the journaling. Most likely it will be tucked behind one of the photos. I love to do that as it gives me room to put more photos on the page. This layout was created using the Elegant Showcase design from the Cherish how-to-book from Close To My Heart. The paper used is one of my all-time favorites called Paper Garden, also by CTMH. I believe this layout is appropriately titled as my son and new daughter-in-law are truly "Soulmates" in every way!
