Close To My Heart-Scrapbook Challenge #114-Longwood's Orchids

I first must apologize for not posting much artwork lately here on my blog. I have been quite busy trying to stay in shape...yep, I try to exercise regularly....plus it is gardening season so I am in either my flower garden or my veggie garden every single day fighting to keep the weeds and bugs at bay.

Anyway, here is my latest layout created for the weekly scrapbook challenge that I participate in. Again, I am so sorry I am behind in these challenge postings. I will try to get them all caught up and posted soon. This one was created digitally. Can you believe that? I created this layout using the Front & Center-In the Middle-Sidebar pattern along with Sophia papers in Studio J. If you're not familiar with Studio J yet, click here and play for awhile. Let me know if you DON'T have fun with this program because there must be something wrong with you! Ha Ha!

During the month of June, you can download a FREE jpeg file of one layout of your choice when you create one with Studio J. What can you DO with a jpeg file, you ask? Well, if you have a wide-format printer at home, you can print it out OR upload it to an online photo developer and get it printed OR just share it with your friends and family through email or websites. It's yours to do with whatever you wish! So go ahead and give it a try! If you find that you really, really LOVE it, give me a shout and I'll tell you all about the memberships for Studio J.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by today!

A New Friend for the Garden

Hubby recently bought this little watermelon-eating ant at an Amish craft place on his way home from a bike ride with the Lancaster Bike Club, of which he's a member. Isn't this little ant just too cute? I thought so and wanted to share him with you. He makes me smile every time I look at him! :-)

If you look beyond the little ant, just above his head and to the right of the hummingbird feeder post, you will see another metal garden structure standing in our Vitex tree. Do you see it? If you click on the photo you can see it larger. Hubby bought that one the same time he got the ant. Don't know what his fascination is with metal garden adornment this year but I'm not complaining.

Hope you enjoy my garden today!
