Another Scrappy Card & One More

WOW, MY CREATIVE JUICES are really flowing! Gotta run with it while it's hitting me! If you've ever hit a creative brick wall, then you know what I'm talking about!

THIS FIRST CARD was created with the old Passages papers, which I still love but are not currently available. They are perfect for travel scrapbook pages or family reunions. I used these papers for both and loved the results!

THE STAMP SET I USED for this card is C1499 - Perfect Day - which happens to be ocean-oriented. I love the ocean although I rarely get there even though I'm just a hop, skip and a jump from it. Maybe this summer!

THOUGHT I'D ALSO SHARE this card with you as well although it wasn't created with Passages scraps. It was, however created with scraps of Desert Sand, Bamboo, Cocoa and Colonial White cardstock.

I ALSO USED THE C1499 - Perfect Day stamp set here along with the D1477 - Universal Backgrounds stamp set. I really love that set. It is so versatile! It comes with 4 different background images - 2 that give the illusion of texture on your projects, 1 musical notes and 1 script image. Whichever one you choose will certainly enhance your project.

Thanks for stopping by today again! Happy scrampin'!

Happy Spring!

ONE OF THE CARDS we will be creating in an upcoming A(wesome)-size Stamp Class. I just love this little birdie. He/she is just too cute and looks to be singing his/her heart out. Well, I've been singing today, too, because unless you've been living under a rock and don't know it yet....it's the first day of Spring! Yippee!

I AM SO EXCITED that winter is officially over although we could get one of those rare spring snowfalls. Oh, don't say that! We're not totally out of the woods yet but I really don't think we'll get any more snow as it's been the mildest winter ever in this area as well as over most of the country, I think.

ANYWAY, AS I SAID in my last post, I have been trying to use up some scraps so I dug out some Mayberry scraps for this card.  I also found a strip of Cocoa ribbon that I had removed from an older card so I used it here, too.

All supplies used are Close To My Heart:
A1129 - A Rainbow stamp set - D1477 - Universal Backgrounds stamp set - Cocoa, Hollyhock, Olive and Sky inks - Mayberry scraps

Thanks for stopping in today! Happy scrampin'!

Using Some Dreamin' Scraps

I HAVE BEEN IN THE MOOD lately to use up some scraps. I have so many leftover papers and really need to get using them up. I am swimming in paper!

SO HERE IS ONE CARD I made today using some scraps from the beautiful Dreamin' paper pack. It is no longer available to purchase  ;-( but it has been a favorite of mine since it first came out. I think I must have bought too much of it because I still have a ton of it left.

CLOSE TO MY HEART products used are: B1398 Just ForYou - Pemberley WOTG stamp set - Dreamin' WOTG stamp set - Chocolate, Goldrush and Pacifica inks - Z1333 Mocha Opaques Gems - Z1718 Color-Ready Garden Wooden Shapes.

HERE IS ANOTHER CARD made with the Dreamin' scraps I had left. The sentiment comes from the D 1475 - Card Chatter-Birthday stamp set. I also used a small knot of Chocolate ribbon and 3 copper brads.

Another Lucy Layout

Sharing another 'Lucy' layout with you all. Of course, the photos are of my youngest granddaughter again. Yes, AGAIN! I hope you're not getting tired of seeing her or her older sister. They are just too cute and I enjoy creating scrapbook pages of them. I give some of the layouts to my son and his wife so I make a lot of them to be sure we both get our share.

Below is a list of the Close To My Heart products I used to create this layout:

Hope you've enjoyed the layout! Thanks for stopping by today!

A 'Lucy' Layout

I HAVEN'T POSTED any scrapbook layouts in quite awhile so I figured it was about time, don't you think? I made this layout of my two youngest granddaughters with the new Lucy papers from Close To My Heart. Since I have 4 granddaughters and one step-granddaughter, I create a lot of 'girly' layouts and Lucy is just perfect for them. The featured colors in Lucy are Blush, Cotton Candy, Creme Brulee, Grey Wool, Sweet Leaf and Pear. Love this paper pack!

THE LEFT PAGE of the layout was one I had created for an all-day crop I recently vended at and decided to make a companion page to go with it for my own scrapbook. I created a pocket on the right page in order to put tags inside so I could have extra space for photos. I cut the tags as well as all the flowers, leaves, butterflies and letters with the help of the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. That cartridge is awesome and only available through 'yours truly'! Read on for more information about it!

IF YOU BECOME a Close To My Heart consultant during the month of March, you can get the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge for FREE! That's an additional $99 worth of products FREE to add to the already almost $300 value of the New Consultant Kit. Wow! What a deal! If I wasn't already a consultant I'd be asking...where do I sign? If this sounds like a great deal to you, give me a shout! I'd love to have you join my 'Scrampers with Heart' team.
